About Us

Chickadee Prints was created by a stay at home mom looking to bring joy and great quality stationery to other mothers. Having gone through the process of ordering announcements through a "box printing store", we wanted to provide something more personal, unique, and high-quality.  We wanted to create stationery.   As a recent new parent, Chickadee Prints started in the newborn area of design, featuring pregnancy announcements, baby shower invitations, and newborn announcements. We wanted to make the experience beautiful for the mother-to-be and new parents.  We have now branched out into stationery for all occasions of your life. Chickadee Prints unofficially began in Spring 2009, formerly run under a different name since 2006, we have been very fortunate to design for many clients over the years. 

What We Do Differently

Chickadee Prints is proud to offer so many things to our customers that you just can't find all in one place, anywhere else.  The best feature is that our customers can completely customize their own cards, in live-view, right on our site!  Pick your card design, type in your text, change the font by selecting from our numerous choices (using more than one font on a card if you'd like), change the font color (again, you can choose more than one!), and change the alignment as if you were using a text editing program.  It's easy!  Need help?  You might catch us online in the live chat!

Next, know that your card will be printed on FSC Certified paper, meaning you are helping the environment by replacing what you've purchased. FSC Certified paper is generated using wind generated electricty.  The Green Print Alliance will plant trees when you print on this cardstock, that's why it's the only paper option we offer. Our printing presses operation is Triple Chain Certified, FSC, SFI, PEFC.

Lastly, we have photo cards as well as non-photo cards, for almost any occasion.  In 2010, we will be pleased to launch our photo customizer!  Our customers will not only have the ease of customizing their text, but of also customizing their photos!  From your computer, you will be able to select a card, edit your text, and then search and upload a photo(s), for a completely custom card.  With the photo editor, you will be able to drag, crop, and place your photo into our photo card designs.  We can't wait for this feature to launch, as we know we will then have the complete package!  Until then, we are still fulfilling photo card orders via the photo card banner on the home page.

We Offer More Sizes!

Chickadee Prints is proud to offer many options for cards as well.  We have flat panel and single fold offered as ready made designs, but we also offer tri-fold, and accordion fold cards in our custom designs. Most of our designs are  flat panel and single fold. Almost all thank you cards and holiday cards are single fold, and you can always choose the complete custom option, choosing any fold design.
